Internship - Fixed Costs Controlling

De functie / The role
As the new member of our Fixed Costs Controlling team you will join your colleagues in being responsible for the completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of the financial reporting of all fixed costs within Danone Trading ELN BV and Danone Trading Medical BV. Currently this team is focusing on merging two different styles of working into one efficient process and they want your support! You will support this and various other projects, as well as the day-to-day activities. These tasks range from analyzing and documenting the PO process to supporting the monthly management reporting process.
Your key responsibilities will surround the following projects:
1. Harmonize management reporting to business on Specialized Nutrition level (currently different ways of working for AMN and ELN)
a. Head Office Overheads reports
b. Travel costs reports
2. Harmonize and improve intercompany cross-charges process
a. Analyze and document current process
b. Define and implement improvements
3. Support the fixed costs controlling department by participating in day-to-day activities
a. Specific tasks in month-end closing (postings, cross-charges, etc.)
b. Support monthly Rolling Forecast process
c. Support monthly management reporting process
d. Create PO's
In addition to the above mentioned projects, you will support the team in day-to-day activities. This includes but is not restricted to specific tasks in month-end closing and forecasting as well as reporting monthly costs and budget analysis.

We are searching for a candidate with an open personality and strong communication skills, who is not afraid to reach out to stakeholders to establish connections. You easily connect with others, are open to share ideas and support in a team but also is willing and able to work autonomously when necessary. Your analytical mindset allows you excel at organizing and conceptualizing complex information in order to plan the next steps.
You must also meet the following requirements:
You must be enrolled in a bachelor/masters program (Business/Finance/Economics) for the whole duration of the internship (if you are not an EU-citizen, you must be enrolled in a dutch university)
You are fluent in English – verbal and written
You are willing to travel/relocate to Hoofddorp, NL.
You are available to start as of June for a minimum of 5-6 months, 4-5 days a week
