De functie / The role
Thermo Fisher Scientific/Phenom-World B.V. is the global number one manufacturer of desktop scanning electron microscopes and imaging and analysis packages. From our HQ in Eindhoven we sell via 40 partners all over the world and our company is growing rapidly. We are looking for a very independent Marketing Communication Specialist in our Marketing team. You will be responsible for in and external MarCom activities working in close cooperation
with the Campaign Manager, Digital Brand Manager and external suppliers.
Job responsibilities and qualifications
o Support the global marketing communication strategy
o Manage the creation and execution of assigned brand campaigns of the annual global marketing
o Manage product design activities in co-creation with agencies
o Align brand and product campaigns and activities with regions and countries concerning defined MarCom strategy
o Manage execution of defined MarCom materials on time and in budget including co-creation of defined deliverables together with agencies (co-produce audio, video, photography, long and short copy projects, and other creative projects)
o Manage corporate branded events on time and in budget including messaging and co-creation of defined deliverables together with agencies
o Define and execute internal brand campaigns and communication (organize, layout, copy edit, proofread and revise internal communications such as corporate newsletters and campaigns).
Het profiel / Your profile
Successfully completed a relevant BSc or MSc degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications or closely related field
o At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related job
o Understanding of marketing communication strategy
o Possess excellent organizational, project management and planning skills
o Exceptional social skills to work collaboratively and thrive on accountability
o Has excellent verbal and written communication in English, as well as proofreading skills
o Briefing external suppliers for high level external productions
o Support in hands-on writing, producing, and editing with quick internal productions
o An understanding of the implications your work could have on the reputation of Thermo Fisher Scientific/Phenom-World
o Has a natural independent drive to take responsibility/ownership to get the job done, stay focused and be pro-active
o Experience in translating technical related topics into valuable, relevant and consistent target
group oriented messages
o Loves a lot of freedom to mold the job him/herself

Has strong communication skills, is down to earth and straightforward
Likes to travel abroad a few times per year for the organization of the international events
